Breakfast - Important Start of a Day - Cooking Recipes

Summer dishes: 
 
In summer, we understand eating hot foods can be very challenge, but cold food is bad for your digestion. According to this, I have prepared some summer dishes, they're lighter and easier to prepare.

Breakfast 1: Pawpaw salad ( dishes for 2 people)
 
Ingredients: Salad
Pawpaw or papaya: half (about 300 gm)
Chicken breast 60 gm 
Walnut: 8gm (about 6) (baked for 10 mins with 200'c heat)
Lemon Juice 2 Teaspoon

Preparation for salad
1. Remove seed and skin of pawpaw and cut it to smaller piece (2cm x 5cm) put aside.
2. Cut chicken into big pieces and rinse them in boiled water for 3 minutes. Soak chicken  in room temperature water (cooked) until it cool down. Peel the chicken into thin strip. Mix chicken, pawpaw and lemon gently. put on dish
3. Mashed walnut and mix with kiwi sauce, spread over step 2. 
4. Ready for serve.

Seasonings: Kiwi sauces
Ingredients: 2 kiwi, 3 teaspoon olive oil, 1 lime or lemon, 1 pinch sugar and salt (small pinch)

preparation for kiwi sauces:
 
1. skin off kiwi and cut to 1cm cube. 
2. Juicing lemon
3. Mix all material and grinds with juicer. 

TCM Note:
"Pawpaw" has "Neutral" nature, slight cool property and taste sweet. In Tcm, pawpaw enters liver and spleen channels, which means they have direct function over liver and spleen which benefit the digestive tract. 
Pawpaw as food medicine in: Detox, improve skin, against aging and aid bowel movement. 
Papaya not suitable for: pregnant women, pawpaw allergies.

"Chicken" has "Neutral" nature, warm property and taste sweet. It enters stomach and spleen channels, it has functions in tonic energy and blood by improve the digestive system. 


Breakfast 2: Apple chicken Salad (dishes for 2 ppl)
Ingredients: salad
Chicken Breast: 70g
Apple wahsed & cupped 1cm cube: 100g
Cherry Tomato cut half: 5 pieces
Sauces:
small pinch salt, 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon Tapioca flour (or rice flour), 1 tablespoon tomato paste. 

Preparation:
1. Soak apple into salt water for 2 minutes and then drain the water.
2. Cut chicken breast into big pieces. Chicken marinated with a pinch of salt and stained with tapioca flour (starch flour).
3. Put chicken into boiling water for 5 minutes until it cooked.
4. Heat up the oil in pan, add in the chicken and apple, then add in tomato paste and sugar, mix well together and stir fried for 2 minutes.
5. Ready for server.

TCM Note:
"Apple" has "sour" nature, cool property and it enters spleen and lung channels. apple has function in "generate fluid, mosture lung, increases appetide and stop diarrhea.
